How many Solarlux systems do you supply?

There are 38 systems in the range we cover, grouped into eight families: bi-folding doors, sliding windows and doors, cero sliding windows, wintergardens, glass canopies, balcony glazing and facades, horizontal sliding walls, and the Flexa internal partitions.

How do I choose the right system for my project?

Start with the opening: its width, its height, how you want to live with it and the thermal performance you need. Tell us those and we will shortlist two or three systems with their figures and the cost difference between them.

Which systems are thermally insulated and which are not?

The SL 35 and SL 45 bi-folding doors and the proline balcony systems are non-insulated, intended for balconies, canopies, pools and partitions. Everything else is thermally broken, with the wood/aluminium SL 97 reaching Uw values from 0.80 W/m2K to passive house standard.

Should I choose aluminium, wood or wood/aluminium?

Aluminium is the slimmest and needs the least upkeep, wood gives a warm interior and can be finished in your own colour, and wood/aluminium puts weatherproof aluminium outside with timber inside, which is how the SL 97 achieves its thermal figures.

What is the largest panel you can supply?

The cero sliding window family takes panels up to 15 m2 and 1,000 kg, with glass surfaces up to 98% of the elevation. Other families run to 3,200 x 2,800 mm per panel, and we confirm the maximum for your opening at survey.

Can different systems be combined in one project?

Yes, and it is often the best answer. Fixed glazing, sliding doors and bi-folding doors can sit in one facade with a glass canopy or wintergarden roof above, all in matching profiles, sight lines and finishes.

Where can I find the technical data and drawings?

Every system page carries the published dimensions, glazing and sealing build, security figures, options and finishes. The Specifications page adds an MFP Specifier clause for your tender, and we send DWG files on request.

Do you install the whole range, or just supply it?

We install what we supply. Our teams fit the complete range across London and the Home Counties, so one company is responsible for the survey, the manufacture, the delivery and the installation.

Can you work to an architect's specification?

Yes. Send us the specification or the tender drawings and we will price the specified systems, flag any performance or size limits, and issue the technical submission the contract requires.
